Can you have wristbands/stay at two different properties at the same time? If grandparents stay at Ft. Wilderness (allows up to 10) and mom and dad are at Disney hotel, can family visit grandparents during the day and children stay a few nights with each?

    Hi Cindy,

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!

It sounds like you are planning a large family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! I often vacation with my young children and their grandparents, and I think the kids having a sleepover with their grandparents sounds like a great idea!

Unfortunately, MagicBands cannot be linked to overlapping resort reservations. Instead, you can ask the Front Desk Cast Member at your resort to make you a Key to the World card, which can also be used to unlock your Disney Resort room door.

If you're looking for activities at Fort Wilderness for all ages, I recommend Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. My kids love sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows. We follow that up with a Movie Under the Stars, which is a different Disney movie featured nightly at the Campground Theater. You can ask the Front Desk for the movies scheduled that week. And depending on the ages of your travel party, the Tri-Circle-D Ranch offers pony and horseback rides.

I hope you enjoy planning your family vacation, Cindy!
