    How do we get a wrist band for entering the park after purchasing our tickets on line

    Hiya Pamela! 

    Welcome to planDisney! Yay! You are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort and I'm sure you are very excited to get planning! I'm a huge fan of cute accessories and the MagicBand+ is one of my favorites. 

    If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you can purchase a MagicBand+ at a discounted price before you arrive. It can be shipped to your home if you order it soon and will be personalized with your name and already linked to your account. These bands can be used to open your Resort room door and be used to make purchases at so many merchandise locations plus so much more. 

    If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you can still find bands to purchase in the Parks and every gift shop located in the Disney Resorts. One of my favorite places to shop for the perfect band is in Disney Springs! World of Disney and Disney's Pin Traders. If you are looking for a specific character my best tip is to look in the gift shop for the attraction related to them. For example, you might find lovely TRON-related bands in the shop near TRON Lightcycle / Run. Don't forget the Disney store online which has some special bands too! These bands purchased outside of the Disney Resort deal must be manually linked to your account. It's pretty easy to do but do it carefully as once it's assigned it is permanently now assigned to that person.
