When would the the PhotoPass CD really be worth purchasing? I would like to have some photos taken by the Disney photographers, but we like to take a lot of our own pictures and can have them developed a lot cheaper at the local discount store. Thanks!

The PhotoPass CD is worth purchasing if you're going to want prints of more than about 10 pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers. Panelist Bret discusses the math of this HERE.

I will tell you that am a huge photographer. I take several hundred pictures during every family trip to WDW. (See a related answer about this HERE.) But I still purchase the PhotoPass CD sometimes because it's a great way to get pictures of the entire family together. With the shots taken with our cameras, one member of the family (usually me) is always out of the picture because they are serving as the photographer. With PhotoPass, someone else gets that job, allowing us to get a record of us ALL enjoying our vacation.
