    Hello, is it worth trick or treating during the mnsshp or go to all the rides with minimal wait time? What do they supply during trick or treating and do they provide a bag or do I have to bring one from home? Also, does DW hand out just candy? Thanks

    Melissa,

    I am a big fan of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. The do provide small bags, and the candy is all single-wrapped candy.

    The last time I went was with my 3 and 5 year old. We spent most of the time trick-or-treating. That is what they wanted to do. HOWEVER, when we return, unless there is someone who is just all about the trick-or-treating, we would spend more of our time at the party doing two things;

    1. Taking advantage of shorter ride lines
    2. Enjoying the Halloween-themed entertainment (i.e. parades, fireworks, shows)
    The candy is nothing to write home about. It is not bad either, but on my trip I am already "treating" myself, so it is not as special. But the smaller crowd size is a real treasure.

    So my bottom line is that if we are there with young kids, we trick-or-treat. If we are not, we ride!

    Have a magical vacation!
