Is it worth the money to get a preferred room over a standard room at the Caribbean Beach Resort? I have a 7 & 5 year old and we are going for 8 days

    Dear Megan,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your awesome question about planning for your stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!

I usually do not recommend the preferred rooms at the Walt Disney World Resort, but due to the large size of this particular resort and the ages of your children, this might be a worthwhile upgrade for your family. At the end of a long day, it can be really nice to have that preferred room location, which is closer to the transportation.

Also, I'm sure that you're aware, but just in case you're not, that resort is undergoing significant refurbishment until June of 2018, so you should take that into consideration as well.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
