How worth the extra cost is the Very Merry Christmas Party? My husband and I are considering surprising our daughter with a trip to DW for her 7th birthday and I believe we will be there during that time.

    Hi Elisa,

What a great time of the year to be at the Walt Disney World Resorts! There is extra magic in the air.

I love Mickey's Not-So-Very-Scary Halloween Party more than I love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party mainly because I can wear a costume and the parade with the Headless Horseman is my favorite parade. However, I digress.

I think both parties make for a wonderful treat and add extra pixie dust to a trip. They also offer time in Magic Kingdom with little crowds especially during the week.

At Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party, there is free hot drinks and cookies at various locations around Magic Kingdom. The parade is very cute and there is snow on Main Street which make it fun to me.

I think seventh birthday would be fun to celebrate at this party. While your ticket guarantees entry at 7:00 pm, cast members can begin letting guests in at 4:00 pm provided there is capacity. Also, you should make sure to have dinner reservations as not all restaurants are open throughout the evening.

When my family attends a party, we chill at the pool or shop during the day and then head to the party in the afternoon.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
