    I am worried that I won't be able to pay the balance of my trip at the 45 day mark with the DP incl. What penalties will I inccur if I cancel the DP now and add the DP back on 30 days prior to arrival?

    Hi, Karen! While there are no guarantees, I have always found the Walt Disney Travel Company to be very easy to work with when issues arise.  Call them (407-W-DISNEY) and let them know your problem, they may allow you to pay for everything except the Disney Dining Plan without going through the trouble of dropping and re-adding it.  Then paying the difference as soon as possible.  However, if you must drop it, be sure you add it back three or more days BEFORE your check-in date.  You cannot add a Disney Dining Plan upon arrival.  I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes you are able to resolve this easily.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
