Hi! I have worn the perfume “Laila” from Norway for years! We will only be able to do 3 parks on our trip and the bday boy doesn’t want EPCOT this trip. I normally park hop butrealize this isn’t an option-is there anyway I can buy the perfume another way?

Welcome to planDisney, Samantha...or as they say in Norway, Velkommen! My great grandparents emigrated from this fjord filled country at the turn of the century. Because of this, I always make sure to make a special stop at this pavilion each time I visit EPCOT. I have many selfies with the replica of Olso's Gol Stave Church in the background while noshing on Lefse or School Bread from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe!

Besides eating, shopping is my favorite thing to do in World Showcase. Although The Fjording Shop is chock full of Frozen merchandise, I usually wander over to the section with the Helly Hansen jackets and hand-knit sweaters (my husband never understands why I want to buy these things when it's an 85-degree day)! And no visit is complete until I get a few spritzes of Laila perfume, which supposedly is the "essence of Norway in a bottle." During one trip, I struck up a conversation with a Cast Member who informed me that the creator of the perfume, Geir Ness, makes frequent visits to the Norway Pavilion and that he named the fragrance after his mother. Even though you won't be able to swing by here on your next visit, I have good news for you! You can order your favorite scent online at geirness.com, where you can view the entire collection. I also like the Norway candle from Magic Candle Company's website...your whole house will smell like Laila!

I hope you and your birthday boy have a fantastic time, Samantha! See ya' real soon!
