Greetings Diana,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With the holiday season just having wrapped up in Walt Disney World, I too find myself already looking forward to the next one. It just adds such an extra sprinkle of pixie-dust to visit Walt Disney World during the holidays, with each of the parks so festive and beautiful, it really gets you into the holiday spirit. There are several opportunities to meet and greet Santa throughout the parks, but for the opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in
Epcot, it will be during the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.
The dates for the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays have not yet been released, however; we can use the information available from previous years as a guide. Historically, the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays begins at the very end of November and runs through around the end of December. Both Santa and Mrs. Claus make their appearance each year at the American Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase and are available to meet guests, pose for photos, and listen to those Christmas wish lists. In years past, this was typically held during the early afternoon through the evening time. You will want to check back as the holiday season gets closer to get more precise and exact information, but it seems as though the month of December would be the best time to plan your vacation.
I highly recommend that you check out the
Candlelight Processional during the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays as well as sweeten your visit with the
Holiday Cookie Stroll. With so many incredible things taking place in Walt Disney World during the Holidays, you are sure to have a magical time!
Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your questions. Happy Planning!
