I am a huge fan of Disneyland Resort entertainment and am so excited about the return of
World of Color,
Disneyland Forever, and soon,
Fantasmic! When it comes to the
entertainment schedule, Guests can view the schedule about a month and a half in advance. Therefore, you should have an idea of what will be available in August 2022 sometime in July – I recommend checking back then.
But in general, Disneyland Resort usually schedules all the major entertainment shows every day--including weekdays--during the summertime. You will likely see at least one, if not two, or all three on the schedule for a weekday in August.
Speaking of World of Color, I wanted to share information about the World of Color
virtual queue. All Guests wanting to watch World of Color are highly encouraged to join the virtual queue, which will give you access to the viewing area. You can join the virtual queue starting at 12:00PM on the day of the show using the
Disneyland Mobile App. Remember that you have to be inside Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park to join the queue.
