About Me

Hi, everyone! I’m Lola, a fun-loving foodie coming to you from Los Angeles, California. During the week, I have a full-time job in education, but on the weekends my life is full-time Disney fun! Some people love yoga, but my form of meditation is visiting Disneyland Resort. Being in the parks with my family is a constant reminder to live in the present moment because it is all we have.

About My Family

My wonderful husband and I have spent many blissful years together. Just like Simba and Nala, my husband is more than just my spouse--he’s my best friend too! Together we have a lion cub of our own, and he definitely loves to practice his roar. Visiting Disneyland Resort together as a family is genuinely Hakuna Matata! It is the perfect place for my tribe to relax, have fun and experience true joy in the Happiest Place on Earth!

About My Disney Experience

I remember boarding the Mark Twain Riverboat with my dad during my first trip to Disneyland Resort. As we leisurely cruised through the Rivers of America, my father shared tales of his own childhood growing up in Louisiana. A decade later, after my father passed, I stood in line to board the Mark Twain Riverboat on my father's birthday. At that moment, a Cast Member walked up to me and asked me to join her in steering the riverboat. As I rang the bell and enjoyed perfect views of New Orleans Square, I felt like I was spending that day with my dad. That is the magic of Disney! It has the power to create long-lasting magical experiences and memories, even after our loved ones are gone. When Walt Disney envisioned Disneyland Park, he saw a place where children and adults could experience the magic together, and that dream of Walt's is a wondrous reality today.
