Hi there, Bethany! Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I absolutely love taking advantage of the
Disney Dining Plan. My little ones enjoy all of the fun character meals, and I love not having to worry about how much money we are spending.
Bethany, as you know, your little one who is under 3 is not eligible for his own dining credits; however, he is more than welcome to share from the plate of another member of your party, or you may order him his own kids meals out of pocket.
But Bethany, did you know that when you visit a
buffet or family-style restaurant, your little one is also welcome to enjoy as much as he cares to eat at no additional charge? This includes a ton of character options, including my family's current favorite restaurant,
'Ohana and the princess-filled
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. When you have a little one who is under 3, booking mostly buffet restaurants is one of my absolute best tips for maximizing your value on the Disney Dining Plan.
Bethany, if you have not heard, the Walt Disney World Resort just released a new tier of the Disney Dining Plan called the
Dinsey Dining Plan Plus. This new plan will allow you to enjoy two meals a day, and you may pick if you would prefer to have a table service or a quick service meal. If you are looking for an extra taste of Disney Dining with a heaping serving of flexibility, this may be the plan for you!
I hope that this helped make your decision about the Disney Dining Plan, Bethany. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your yummy vacation!
