Who can I work with to plan a get away in later July/early August of 2021 - dates are still up in the air. Planning something with my Wife and 5yr old daughter, hoping to stay at one of the Disney resorts - but guessing Princess theme would be cool.

    Hi Tim!

I’m so glad you found us here on planDisney! We are experienced Disney travelers and super-fans here to offer you suggestions, tips, tricks, and to answer your trip planning questions!

You can book your entire trip right from your own home. With My Disney Experience, you can book a Disney Resort Collection Hotel, purchase Disney Theme Park Tickets, make Advance Dining Reservations, and even book Enchanting Extras. If you would prefer to book things yourself this is the way to go. While we can answer individual questions here on planDisney, we are not able to book things for you. Ask us about restaurant recommendations, how early to leave for the parks in the morning, the best attractions for school-age kids, where to find a good cup of coffee in the parks, or anything else you can think of, we are here to help!

If you’d like more personalized service, and someone to work with to book your entire vacation, I would recommend an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These are travel agents with special training in booking Disney vacations that can work with you directly. A quick look with your favorite search engine for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner should turn up multiple options for you. Many people mistakenly think using a travel agent costs more than booking themselves, but it doesn’t! Their services are free to you, so don’t be afraid to consider that option.

You mentioned a princess theme, Tim. Ordinarily, I would have the perfect answer, one of the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. However, not all of the Disney Resort Collection Hotels have reopened and this is one of the resorts that remains closed, with no reopening announcement. Never fear, Tim! How about a Little Mermaid themed room at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort? Ariel is certainly a Disney Princess and you’ll feel right at home under the sea in these elaborately themed rooms! If you’d like a room with more space, this resort also has Family Suites themed after Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and Cars. While Simba may not be a princess, he is King of the Jungle!

Travel is seeing a big demand right now, Tim, and things are beginning to book up. If you’d like to travel this summer, I would not delay in making your plans very soon. I hope you’ll return to us with more questions as you get ready for your trip!

    Happy Planning!
