Hi Melissa!
Welcome to planDisney!
If I understood your question correctly, let’s chat about using
Lightning Lane services with a park hopper! If that’s not quite what you were asking, feel free to come back and clarify, so we can get you the answer you’re looking for.
When using Lightning Lane Multi Pass with a
park hopper, you’ll choose just one park to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for. And that’s the park where you’ll choose your 3 Lightning Lane pre-selections. That park may be the very first park you plan to visit on your park day or a park that you’ll hop to later…your choice!
As soon as you scan into your very first Lightning Lane of the day using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll be able to book any other available Lightning Lane in any park as long as you have a valid park hopper linked to your account. At that time, you’ll also be able to modify any existing Lightning Lanes to any available Lightning Lane in any park if you don’t think you’ll have time to get to that attraction before hopping to your next park.
When using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll only be able to book each available Lightning Lane one time per day. You’ll find that some of the popular Lightning Lanes at the parks run out of availability throughout the day, so if you have your heart set on a certain ride in a different park, try to book that one as soon as you scan into your first attraction of the day.
As a quick recap, you’ll only purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the park in which you make your pre-selections. Then you’ll be able to use that same pass at any other park that day after scanning into your first Lightning Lane.
With Lightning Lane Single Pass, you’ll be able to book up to 2 of those attractions per day. And they do not need to be at the same park as long as you have a park hopper.
Finally, Lightning Lane Premier Pass can only be used in one park, even if you have a park hopper. That pass also only allows you to access the Lightning Lane of each available attraction one time during your park day.
It’s good to note that each park day will be a separate transaction when you book your Lightning Lanes in advance on your
My Disney Experience app. You’re more than welcome to book the same rides on different days. You just can’t book the same attraction more than once on the same park day.
I hope that helps! But, again, if that didn’t answer your question, feel free to
come back and visit us! Have a great trip!
