Hi there, Keira!
You don’t have to worry about Wreck-It Ralph breaking the internet on your cruise. You have a few
options to stay connected while out at sea.
Disney Cruise Line has upgraded their internet to time-based packages. Once on board, you can select a package to check your email, surf the web, post pictures on social media, or even stream your favorite music platforms. On my last sailing aboard the Disney Wish, I had no problem with the Basic Surf plan to upload pictures and search the internet. You'll want the Premium Surf plan if you need to make video phone calls or use Zoom.
I sailed over to a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member who said that while Starlink is not on the
Prohibited Items list, the equipment may not work onboard. In addition, the ship’s chief electrician may need to review the equipment during the security screening process. Another option is to use your cell service when in port. Restaurants and shops typically offer free Wi-Fi, too.
Keira, I can’t wait for you to step aboard and explore your ship. You’ll find helpful deck plans on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You can also use the app to stay connected to your friends and family sailing with you. There are even Disney emojis to accompany your messages. Make sure you enable push notifications to use this feature. Best of all, the app connects to the ship’s Wi-Fi and all of its features are free to use without having to purchase an internet package.
I hope you have a fantastic voyage! Please sail our way again. My pals and I are delighted to help!
SEAS the adventure!
