Hello there, Barbara! Welcome aboard planDisney. Thanks for sailing to us!
You are in the final phases of vacation planning.. the packing stage and I'm here to help you the best that I can. While Disney Cruise Line provides a helpful
packing checklist, I can understand why you are curious about what to expect for your days at sea. I recommend you plan for the weather to be in the mid-70s for your sailing. It's great to bring some extra layers for the evening when the temperature dips and if you are prone to being chilly.
I usually wear a light cardigan in the early morning or late evening. The air will feel cooler as the ship sails along the ocean when you are enjoying time on deck on your days at sea. Layers are a great idea to help you stay nice and comfortable. The great news is, that it's easy to get back to your stateroom quickly on the ship, and you can add or remove layers as needed easily throughout the day.
Be sure to pack any valuables, medication, and all important travel documents with you in the day bag that you will carry aboard the ship. You'll need access to your
travel documentation as you check in at the port. The rest of your luggage can be left with porters and will be delivered to your stateroom later in the afternoon. If you'd like to enjoy the pools on the ship before your luggage is delivered, you can pack your swimsuits in your carry-on luggage as well. My kids love to swim as soon as we have finished eating lunch on the day we embark. I usually sit nearby and enjoy my first of many soft-serve ice cream cones as they swim.
I'm wishing you wonderful memories as you sail with Disney Cruise Line! Please return to planDisney again if we can be of further assistance.
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
