How does it work when dining at WDW if part of your group has the Disney Dining Plan and a couple in your group doesn't? Can you still put everything on one check or do you ask for 2 separate checks?

Hi Carol! Using the Disney Dining Plan is super easy! Not everyone dining at your table has to be using the Dining Plan and your server will be happy to prepare the check however you request -- you can have your meals all on one check or on separate checks. When your server greets you at the restaurant, he'll ask if you're on the Disney Dining Plan and you can tell him which members of your party are and how you want the check handled. If you choose one check, you'll see the meal credits deducted for those on the Dining Plan and the charges for those not on the Plan and for items not covered by the plan, such as alcoholic beverages. If your party wants to pay separately or you're using multiple Dining Plans from different reservations, then you'll want to request separate checks.

Please don't hesitate to visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
