Hi Janette,

I am so jealous! I wish I was going to Disney in 12 days!

Both my mother and mother-in-law are regular scooter renters. We generally get to the parks between 9 and 10 in the morning and have not had a problem renting scooters. When I was there two weeks ago, I went to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT late in the afternoon and saw scooters still available. However, availability is different each day.

Remember if you go from one park to another to save your receipt so you do not pay for the scooter again. You pay only once a day and as long as there is a scooter available, you are good to go.

One final tip: make sure someone else knows how to drive it in case you need to move it or your mother does not feel comfortable backing up the scooter. My husband usually is the back up driver.
