It won’t let me make reservations for dinner or lunch for my party of 5 at Cinderella‘s or Be our guest. Does this mean all the spots are full or we are able to just walk in

    Hi Kristin,

Welcome to planDisney, and greetings from a fellow Virginian! I see that your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only about a month away! That's usually when my family likes to start our official countdown chain, and I hope you and your crew have found the perfect way to count down the days until all of the magic and fun begin and are already getting so excited for your visit!

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some trouble being able to make dining reservations. Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella's Royal Table are two very popular choices and often fill up early. Because Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can make dining reservations for the entire length of their stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before their check-in date, it's possible that all of the spots are already full when the reservation window opens 60 days beforehand. All hope is not lost, though! Guests' plans do change frequently, and it's quite possible that something will open up. I'd encourage you to check often to see if you can find an opening! Even if you're not able to make a reservation before your trip begins, it is possible to join a walk-up list. You'll simply want to click the plus sign on the My Disney Experience mobile app, choose "Check Dining Availability," enter your party size, pick the current date, select and "Now" for your time. Whether you're able to find a reservation or you join a walk-up list, I'm sending pixie dust that you'll be able to enjoy one of these royal (and delicious!) experiences during your visit!

Just in case you're not able to find availability at one of those choices, I wanted to share that my family has enjoyed fantastic meals at many Magic Kingdom Park restaurants. Two of our favorites are The Crystal Palace and The Plaza Restaurant. I'm confident that wherever you dine, you'll find scrumptious food in a spectacular setting!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Kristin, and please don't hesitate to come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're thinking through the details of your visit. I hope you have a truly magical vacation next month!
