Hiya Jackie,
Welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by. I know it may seem lightyears away, but soon you will be on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. October is a great time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. You will be able to enjoy the fall festivities and decorations and, best of all, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is still underway. This culinary extravaganza offers Guests, and their taste buds, a chance to nibble and sip their way around The World Showcase purchasing food and beverage from six continents. There are so many delicious options that you will want to come hungry and taste them all!
Now let me wipe the food drool off my keyboard and tackle your question. There is a
dress code at Disney World's theme and water parks that Guests need to follow but it is fairly straight forward with the main guideline being that Guests should dress comfortably, refrain from wearing anything offensive, and make sure clothing is family friendly and not a safety concern. These guidelines include restrictions on clothes that are excessively ripped or torn, has obscene graphics or wording, exposes portions of the skin that may be inappropriate, and restricts clothes that touch or drag on the ground. The main reason for this restriction is Guest safety. In your case, a long skirt, that is not part of a costume and does not actually reach or drag on the ground should be fine. You may want to keep the skirt no longer than shin length, otherwise you may find it difficult to enter and exit the various cars and boats used on the attractions.
I hope this helps with your packing. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
