    I am wondering if WDW offered the free dining plan in 2008? If so, Could you tell me the date range? Is there any word if they will offer this in 2009?

    Hi Shannon,

    Yes, Walt Disney World did offer the very popular free dining promotion in 2008 as our family was there during that time. The offer was announced in early April and it ran from August 24, 2008 thru September 20, 2008.

    There has been no official announcement yet if the same program will be offered in 2009, however I do know that we were offered the chance to re-book a free dining package for 2009 before we checked out. This would lead me to believe that WDW would extend this offer to the general public again. I would keep checking back at www.disneyworld.com as spring approaches and keep your fall travel dates open. Hope this helps.
