We are wondering if going to the waterpark counts as one of your park days with the waterpark option included on the Magic your Way ticket. We would like to spend one full day at the waterpark but are afraid it will serve as 1 of our days at the theme park

    Hi Justin,

Great question! My family loves the Water Parks! The Magic Your Way Ticket with the Water Park Fun & More Option gives you access to Disney's Blizzard Beach, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course.

The way that ticket works is this: Let's say you bought a 5 day Base Ticket (or Park Hopper). You would have 5 days in the main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios). You would also have additional 5 "Water Park Fun & More" visits. Those can be used on any of the places I listed above. If you booked a 7 day vacation (for example), you could easily do one full day in both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, plus spend 5 days in the main theme parks. You could then use your other "Fun Options" to check out DisneyQuest one evening, etc. Some people choose to split their days by starting in the Magic Kingdom, heading to a water park for the afternoon and then going back to the Magic Kingdom for the fireworks in the evening. Just keep in mind that if you purchased a Base Ticket instead of a Park Hopper you can only visit one theme park per day but you can go in and out of that one park as many times as you want on that day.

In short, your Base Ticket or Park Hopper is your access to the main theme parks. The Water Park Fun and More adds more fun to your vacation but visiting those venues does not use up one of your theme park admissions.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you would like any specific information or tips for the water parks, my family really loves visiting those on our Disney vacations.

    Have a wonderful trip,

    Kaylene
