Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth! A Water Saddle is an ingenious idea- I just put it on my Amazon shopping list for our summer trip! This is an example of one of those, "Why didn't I think of that?" items!
I took a look at the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. Listed among the prohibited items is, "Non-Coast Guard approved flotation devices or swim noodles at any water park." This rule, I believe, only applies to
Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks. I've seen various types of floats at the Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools, and unless they are a nuisance to other Guests, the lifeguards are usually allow them. Since your Water Saddle stays underwater, I don't envision this being an issue.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is known as Walt Disney World's flagship resort, and you won't be disappointed with its combination of Victorian style and modern day amenities. The 111,261 gallon
Beach Pool is fabulous for families since it has zero-entry access, overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon, and has a 181-foot water slide. For a little added luxury, poolside
Cabanas are available to rent. The Courtyard Pool is even larger and has zero-entry, several bubbling fountains, and a great hot tub. If you need to grab a bite to eat, both pools have a
Pool Bar & Grill- I recommend the House-made Crab Cake Sandwich!
I hope you have a swimmingly good time during your upcoming stay, Elizabeth!
