Hi I was wondering if I wanted to stay at Fort Wilderness Campground and wanted to rent an rv do I have to use a disney authorized company or can I use any rv company near walt disney world too?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Connie! I’m excited to know that you are planning a visit to The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! It’s my family’s favorite place to stay when we visit the most magical place on earth!

You don’t have to rent an RV from a preferred Disney vendor in order to enjoy it at this rootin’ tootin’ Disney campsite. But if you did want to, visit the amenities tab on The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort web site and scroll down to view “RV Rentals” for a detailed list.

There’s so much to do at this unique frontier themed resort. From archery to horse rides to riding around in your very own golf cart. There's really something for everyone in your group to enjoy, no matter what their vacation style is! Don’t forget, action and excitement is just a short boat ride away at the Magic Kingdom Park

Connie, it’s important to note, even if you’re staying in an RV, you can still enjoy all of the benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest!

If you have any other planning questions, don’t hesitate to come back to see us.

    Have a wonderful visit!
