Hi, Angelica!
Thank you for coming to
planDisney and asking us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. What a magical and generous gift
theme park tickets will be! You’re about to make someone very happy.
During your ticket transaction, you will be asked to identify individual names for them. However, the names that display on the tickets on the Disneyland Resort website or in your
Disneyland mobile app are mostly just for organizational purposes. Tickets aren’t officially assigned to a person until they are scanned for first use at a theme park entrance. At that point, a Cast Member will snap the Guest’s photo and the designated ticket will be assigned to them.
However, if you still prefer to change the name that is associated with an unused ticket in advance, you can call (714) 781-4636 and a Cast Member will assist you with getting it straightened out. Another idea is to purchase a
Disney Gift Card instead of a theme park ticket and that way your recipient can purchase their own ticket and make
theme park reservations themselves for the day of their choice.
I hope this helps, Angelica. If you have any other questions about
The Happiest Place on Earth, please feel free to write back and ask!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
