Hi, I was just wondering if the T-REX Restaurant in Downtown Disney would be added to the Dining Plan in the near future? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Monica,

We just ate at the T-Rex restaraunt a few days after its grand opening. The dinosaurs and details in this restaraunt are incredible. T-Rex is a Landry restaraunt, which is the same company that owns the Rainforest Cafe chain. While there has been no official announcement on T-Rex becoming a Disney dining plan option, I would think this is unlikely. Rainforest has been on Disney property for a number of years and is not part of the dining plan. Given that both locations are owned by the same corporation, I would think if Rainforest has not been added yet, it would be unusual to see T-Rex added. Of course, this is always subject to change, but probably not anytime soon.

On a side note, if open ask to sit in the glacier room, it is our favorite!
