Hey there Jeff, I'd like to wish you a warm Canadian welcome to planDisney!
Shipping items home from Walt Disney World Resort is something I've observed fellow Canucks decide to do whether it's to avoid having to fly home with a
Handbuilt Lightsaber from Savi's Workshop or a work of art from the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. As you likely already know, it can cost a pretty penny to send your treasured Disney mementos over the border but having been in a similar situation myself as I sent Disney Wedding invitations and parcels to international addresses, I'd be delighted to help give you some general tips:
- I typically first look up universal package tracking tools online to see whether I could glean information from them; sometimes they can be very useful in determining the carrier, especially since some have distinct tracking number formats.
- The majority of the parcels I've sent out from Walt Disney World Resort are shipped with either UPS or FedEx which are also used by the Business Centers found at select Disney Resort Hotels, so it may be worth attempting to input your tracking number on their respective websites.
- You'll likely have the best chance of luck by heading directly to your nearest Canada Post office and inquiring with the staff; they will hopefully be able to at least determine the carrier for you.
I hope that this helps a bit Jeff, I wish I had a little more context to know whether your package was
a purchase from a Theme Park location,
on shopDisney.com as their Customer Support Cast Members would be better equipped to assist you with shipping inquiries if they were the source! In the meantime,
come back to planDisney again for any other advice or information ahead of your next visit!
Here's hoping you'll be able to track it down successfully!
