Hi, Audrey! Thank you very much for your question.
Worrying about medication shouldn't add stress to planning your
Walt Disney World vacation. Let's see if we can't find an option that will work for you.
To begin with, while there are no refrigerated lockers, the nurses at the
First Aid Stations at each of the theme parks may be able to help. Medication can be stored in refrigerators at these staffed first aid centers. The medication must be properly labeled with your name and the name of the medication, and you can bring it to the nurse when you arrive at the theme park.
Some guests prefer to bring their own small personal cooler. As long as it adheres to the
park rules and regulations, you are absolutely welcome to do this. This will save you a trip back to the First Aid Station if you're already across the theme park from the station when you need your medication.
Depending on the type of medication you have, you may find a product that will help you keep it cool. As a diabetic, I used a Frio wallet, which keeps medications in smaller vials, such as insulin, cool without having to carry an ice pack. The wallet fit right inside my handbag, so it was easy to carry around.
Hopefully, one of these options will work just perfectly for you. I hope this is one less thing for you to worry about as you plan your trip!
See ya real soon, Audrey!
Anna
