We are wondering what to do with our sunglasses/cell phones etc. when we go on rides. What do most people do?

Thanks for sending in your question to the Mom's Panel, Melissa!  We're glad you're hEAR!  That's a great question. We just got back a few days ago from Walt Disney World so I have several great ideas for you.  My husband always enjoys taking a backpack to store our camera, his wallet, cell phones, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses and any other park essentials in. On the milder attractions, he simply stores his backpack below him or holds it on his lap. On more intense attractions that have a lap bar or shoulder bar and prohibits guests from holding their belongings, he either stores the bag in the storage compartment (if space allows) or puts his leg over the backpack below him. I do not remember any of the more intense attractions not having a storage compartment in the ride vehicle. I was also able to store my sunglasses in these compartments. Just make sure to remember to pick up your items before exiting the attraction. My husband actually forgot his backpack on Mission: SPACE and remembered after exiting the building. His backpack was immediately taken to Guest Relations at the park so we were able to retrieve it within 30 minutes or so. There were a few attractions that I simply held my sunglasses on. I hope this information helps!  Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Melissa!
    Happy Planning,
