Hello, I was wondering if Stormalong Bay pool has a kiddie section for toddlers? Thanks!

    Hi Brian,

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Stormalong Bay is by far the best pool at Walt Disney World. My family often stays at the Beach Club now, but we always stayed there when the kids were small, specifically because of the awesome pool situation for little kids.

My rough guess is that about 20% of the three-acre pool area is a sand-bottom zone with a depth ranging from one to two feet - perfect for toddlers. There are sand dunes scattered throughout so that there is plenty for little ones to do. It's an terrific zone for castle-building, splashing and water exploration.

If you'd like to see photos of this, head over to the independent website blog.touringplans.com and search there for an article called "Get to Know Stormalong Bay." The first non-map photograph is of the toddler sand area where you can get a sense of the water depth and the engagement of small kids.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
