I was wondering if there was somewhere that showed the approximate cost per night/person for the two different dining plans. I’ve always been a big fan of it and do plan on purchasing but for budgeting purposes I’d like to know how much so I can calculate

    Hello Kelli!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for your great question about Disney Dining Plans! We sound like kindred-spirit Disney vacation planners... because I'm big fan of planning out those magical details and budgeting beforehand, too. Being able to budget your food expenses ahead of time is just one great reason to love adding a Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package. So, let's take a look at the comparison of the two dining plan costs, to help you decide which is best for you.

Current Disney Dining Plan prices for 2025 travel are:
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is $59.14 per adult, per night of stay ($24.71 per child ages 3-9)
Disney Dining Plan is $97.79 per adult, per night of stay ($30.56 per child ages 3-9)
(Prices are accurate at the time of writing but could be subject to change.)

My family has done both of these options, and I think it's terrific that either plan features one of my favorite things: A Resort-Refillable mug!! Woo hooo! What a magical souvenir to take home.

Often what helps me decide between the two dining plans (in addition to cost) is considering how long our Disney resort stay will be? How busy are our park plans? Sometimes having an advance dining reservation for table service during your bustling park day is a welcome, relaxing break. Or perhaps having the flexibility of grabbing a quick-service meal whenever you feel hungry works better with your plans. If you are debating between the two values, you can also peruse the Disney World website and check out individual Disney Dining location's menus, which include pricing.

Please be sure to keep an eye on the Disney World Special Offers page, as you never know when a great deal may open up during your travel dates. Maybe even Free Dining"?! (I have no insider knowledge of this, but it's something I personally always watch for!) If a new deal is announced that you are interested in, and you have booked your travel package directly on the Disney World website, you can easily modify your reservation and switch it to something available through the special offer.

Final tip: If you go with Disney Dining Plan and have not yet tried an evening at Boma I highly recommend it. We like to arrive at Animal Kingdom Lodge during daylight and at least one hour prior to our dining reservation to enjoy viewing the live animals on the savannah. It's an amazing experience!

I hope you have a wonderful Disney World vacation, Kelli! Please let me know if you have any additional questions I can help with.

    Bon Appetit!
    Tami
