Hi there, Joshua!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Get ready to take flight on one of my family’s favorite ways to get from Point A to Point B at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I recently stayed at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the
Disney Skyliner access was a game changer.
Soaring to new heights in an easy, breezy gondola is an efficient way to travel and provides an unbeatable view of Walt Disney World Resort. When traveling from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to the theme parks, you will have to get out of your Disney Skyliner gondola to reach them.
You will hop onto the Disney Skyliner from the station that’s shared with Disney’s Pop Century Resort, travel toward the theme parks, and choose your next destination once you arrive at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort’s hub. From there, you will get in a queue (sometimes there’s little to no queue, depending on the time of day) for either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or EPCOT. The Disney Skyliner has a stop at Disney’s Riviera Resort on the way to EPCOT and the BoardWalk area. There is no stop between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
AN EXTRA GEM: The longest I’ve seen the queues get is when you’re leaving a theme park at closing time. I recommend that you hop onto the Disney Skyliner to return to your Resort hotel before the theme park closes to avoid those lengthy lines. But one thing is for sure: Those queues usually move quickly because the gondolas are constantly in motion.
Joshua,
please let us know if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions. Your next great adventure is just on the horizon. Enjoy every moment!
Magic always,
LeAndra
