Welcome to planDisney, Joanna!
Get ready to experience so many culinary delights at Walt Disney World! Some of my favorite restaurants are at my Happy Place, and you will surely fall in love with them, too. Whether you’re enjoying a character dining experience like
The Crystal Palace or getting food on-the-go at a quick-service dining option like
Casey’s Corner, there’s something that you’ll enjoy.
While there isn’t an official list of restaurants that accept a
Disney Gift Card, most restaurants on Walt Disney World’s property will accept it as a method of payment. I live super close to the Florida Disney Parks and I don’t think I’ve ever ran into a time when a Cast Member has told me that they didn’t accept a Disney Gift Card. You can even use Disney Gift Cards at the food booths during EPCOT’s festivals, like the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival’s Outdoor Kitchens. However, I suggest that you call the restaurant that you’d like to visit ahead of time to be sure, especially if they’re not Disney owned.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you’d also like to use your Disney Gift Card in the
My Disney Experience App to use Mobile Food Ordering, you can! Unfortunately, you can’t save the gift card’s information in the app, but I like to save the card’s number in my Notes section in my cell phone and copy and paste the information into the app when I’m ready to order.
Joanna,
please see us again real soon if you have additional questions about your upcoming vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Any of us will be more than happy to help you!
Magic always,
LeAndra
