HI! I was wondering if there were any restaurants where the characters just 'drop in' ? I know there was a place like this at the Disney Resort Paris (In the downtown area). I don't want to book a character meal, maybe just see em if that makes any sense?!

    Hi Jillian,

I'm afraid there are no restaurants like that in Walt Disney World, there are either character meals or non-character meals. But don't worry you can still see the characters without booking a meal. Each park has it's own designated character meeting spot, in Magic Kingdom it's in the judges tent in Toontown. Epcot has the Character connection, in Hollywood Studios they can be found in the magic of Disney animation and in Animal Kingdom there are character trails in Camp Minnie Mickey. You will also find characters in various places in each park, just look for the Mickey hand sign on the park maps. If there is a particular character you'd like to see ask any Cast Member (Disney employee) who should be able to call the character hotline on your behalf to find out!

Hope that helps and you have a great trip,

    Jo
