I was wondering if you can "rent" life jackets at the Disney Resort pools? I would hate to have to bring them with me. We are staying at the POR-FQ. Love the Mom's Panel! Thanks!!

    Hi, Michelle!

Thanks so much for your kind words! All the Moms and Dads here at the Moms Panel are very happy to help Guests plan pixie-dusted Disney vacations!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a beautifully themed resort. I love the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court (be sure to order some beignets and try a Muffaletta sandwich!) and the Doubloon Lagoon Pool.

I have good news for you: there's no need to pack bulky life jackets! As a Disney Resort hotel guest, life jackets are complimentary at the Resort pools, though they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Boating-type life jackets are also available from the Riverside Levee Marina at Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. You can keep these for the entire length of your stay -- you'll just need to provide your Guest room number and show your Resort ID (Key to the World Card). There is a fee (of $45) if you fail to return the life jacket prior to departure/check-out.

I hope this information helps you plan your visit! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions as you continue planning.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
