I am wondering what 'proof of CA residency may be required' means? Will me and my friend both have to provide CA ID's upon gate entry? I have a CA ID, but my friend just recently moved in with me and doesn't have 1

Hi Andrea and welcome to planDisney! A June visit to the Disneyland Resort sounds just magical to me! Thanks for stopping by with your planning question.

Being Mickey’s neighbor definitely has its perks. Special Offers on theme park tickets for Southern California residents are one of them! While we’re still learning about all the details of the reopening of “The Happiest Place on Earth” at the end of this month, it’s likely a government issued ID, showing your Southern California address will be the way to go.

Andrea, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest on all the happenings at the Disneyland Resort. It’s a great place to keep track of all the new activities and experiences you can enjoy during your next visit.

Thanks again for stopping in with your question. If you need any more advice or if you just want to keep up with what the planDisney family is doing, follow us on Instagram. We love sharing our planning tips with you!

    Have a magical visit!
