Hi Just wondering if there is much point to checking in through my experi app on a first time visit from the uk as I will need to collect my magic bands anyway, plus I'd like to request a high room an I understand to request that I must check in prior

    Dear Ian,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

How exciting that you will be visiting before you know it! I understand what you mean about feeling like even if you do online check-in on your My Disney Experience, you will still have to wait in the queue once you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, but it is definitely still worth taking a few minutes to do it. Room preferences are one thing to enter, as you mentioned, and then you can also enter your credit card for charges and a few other items. It will definitely speed you along in the queue at the hotel.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
