Hi Laura, and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs is a fantastic choice, and there’s a reason it’s Michelin Recommended! I’ve been a fan of Chef Morimoto since his Iron Chef days, and my husband and I always look forward to a visit here. We especially love the sushi and the Sake Sangria, but if I had to choose just one must-try? The Morimoto Spare Ribs. They’re crispy on the outside, fall-off-the-bone tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious.
Since you’ll be using the
Disney Dining Plan for dinner here, it requires two Table-Service credits per person, and that includes an entrée, a dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage (or an alcoholic beverage if you’re 21+). Most of the options from the Sushi, Rice & Noodles, Meat & Poultry, and Vegetables sections of the menu are eligible as entrées on the dining plan.
One exception to keep in mind is the Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef, as it’s not included on the plan. As for the Morimoto Peking Duck, it’s served for two people and would require a total of four Table-Service credits. If you and your dining partner are duck fans, it’s a delicious and elegant choice. While dessert offerings aren’t always listed on the online menu, some current options include the Churro Donuts (my personal favorite, especially with that miso caramel sauce!), Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake, and seasonal sorbet.
I hope this gives you some food for thought for your upcoming visit, Laura! If you have any other questions while planning your Disney adventures, feel free to reach out. We’re always here and happy to help.
