I was wondering if when you get the pirate punch if it is possible to get a different drink in the cup. I don't like my children to drink light beverages? And why does Disney do this? Can you get the drinks to go or do you have to go to a sit down rest?

For other guests who are unaware of the Pirate's Punch, a description of this can be found HERE. You could certainly have a different beverage put in the cup with the glowing character. At some venues, I've been to, specifically the Sci-Fi-Dine-In and the 50's Prime Time Cafe, I have been asked what beverage we want in the cup. If you are not asked, you could request any of the fountain drinks or water in the cup. There are glowing drinks available at some counter service restaurants. Those you could obviously get to go. It would also be very easy to get a pirate's punch or other glowing drink to go at any table service restaurant that has a bar, (50's Prime Time Cafe, for example). Simply go to the bar and ask for your drink to take with you.
