Howdy, Rhian, and welcome to the wildest panel in the wilderness! The planDisney panel that is. Saddle up because we're going to rustle up an answer to this great question.
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are one of my favorite places to hang my hat. My family enjoys rustling up some grub in the full kitchen, and we love relaxing and playing games in the living room. Wide open spaces are the best!
Rhian, as you probably know, the cabins fall in the
Moderate Resort category, so they are not eligible for the
Extended Evening Hours offered on select evenings at
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT. Only guests staying at
Deluxe Resorts and Villas and a few other select resorts can enjoy this time in the parks after regular hours.
The good news is that all guests staying at any Disney Resort are eligible to
enter all four theme parks 30 minutes before the listed opening time. I've found that I can accomplish so much in those first minutes in the parks. For example, I recently took a photo at sunrise near Cinderella Castle with no one else in the picture. And I always head for attractions that can have longer wait times, like Space Mountain. Nothing wakes you up like a thrill ride in the morning!
Rhian, if you'd like to offer your opinion about the eligibility requirements for Extended Evening Hours, email the
Help Center. Guest satisfaction is their primary goal, so you should state your case! You never know what could happen if enough people make the same request. Circle those wagons!
Thanks again for stopping by
planDisney, Rhian. Next time, I'll have a roaring campfire if you bring the 'smores!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
