    I was wondering if there would be an opportunity to experience the New Fantaslyland prior to it's opening on Dec. 6th. Our vacation is from Nov. 29th to Dec. 3rd and we were hoping to be able to see and experience the new part of the park.

    I just got back a few days ago from the Magic Kingdom, and what you need to do is plan on the assumption that you will not get to see the new Fantasyland, but try to go never the less.

    In our case the area appeared open, but it was only for Cast Member previews. And in November there are a number of Annual Passholder scheduled previews as well. So don't come with the expectation that you will get in, or you may walk away disappointed.

    But this preview period is a test period, so it is entirely possible that you might get in on any given day. What you should do is this;

    As soon as you arrive in the morning, ask a cast member as to the status of the area for the day. If they can't give you a clear answer, then head to that area immediately and ask the cast member guarding that entry. I chose to do it without having my kids around, so that they would not expect entry and then get disappointed.

    In our case it was a shut-out every day, but you may be in for better luck!
