Hi! Wondering what moderate is the best choice for parent traveling w/o spouse this trip w/ a 9 & 6 year old daughters. Would like easy access to things such as pool and food court. Also Magic Kingdom & EPCOT are favorite parks. Both love to swim

    Robert,

My daughters are 3, 5, & 7 and our family favorite moderate resort is Caribbean Beach.  We like the themeing in general, and with the recent renovations here, I really believe that the pool at this resort rivals many of the deluxe resorts.  There is a child splash-park area that looks like a pirate ship, and although I thought they might be too old for it, they actually wound up enjoying it quite a bit.  The main pool is also very nice, and quite large.  It has 2 waterslides, which no other Disney resort pool offers.

The way this resort is laid out, the main pool is just outside of the food court area, which is very convenient.  If you opt for a preferred room location, you be close to all of the action.

Coronado Springs would be our second choice.  The rooms have all been renovated and have a very nice, upscale feel to them, but the pool and the food court are on opposite ends of the resort so there's no way to be close to both.

    Hope that helps!
