    We were wondering if there will be a military discount for the 2015 Christmas Party. We had heard that this was available in past years but not for presale. Would it be worth waiting until we arrive at the resort to buy tickets or not risk sell out.

    Hello Leigh,
    I'm so glad to hear you're going to be attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP)! It's such a fun event and one of my favorite things to do in the Magic Kingdom to celebrate the holidays with my family. We are a military family also and I'll share with you my experience from past events. However, please note that the policies Disney has had in the past for these events may change without notice.

    Shades of Green will sell tickets for MVMCP while supplies last. However, I have been able to purchase military tickets for MVMCP with my military ID at Guest Relations for a sold out party without a problem. Since military tickets for these events can only be purchased on site, in the past Disney has allowed military families to buy tickets for a sold out party so they don't miss out. The Military Disney Tips (www.militarydisneytips.com) website has been a great resource for me regarding the policies for buying tickets for a sold out party. They have also just posted military prices for 2015, so you can determine whether or not you feel it's worth the peace of mind to purchase your tickets at the regular price.
