Hi Jennifer,
I am so glad you came to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your important question. One of those amazing experiences has been
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I have had the pleasure of attending this special event on several occasions, several times with friends and then a couple of years ago with my children. Each and every time, I have been filled with the holiday spirit in a new way.
So, to answer your question, I think it is totally worth the added expense. One of the key selling points for me is getting to experience things you would not be able to other times of the year or even on days in the park during the holidays. Where else can you see it snow on Main Street, USA in Florida? The tin soldiers in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade are my favorite. You will find characters that you do not normally see. The complimentary treats such as cookies and hot cocoa have some added options new this year, too. Peppermint bark cookies, gingersnaps and eggnog are among those new festive treats. There are also some
scrumptious holiday snacks for purchase, only available during the party. I have to admit, I am a bit bummed that I won't be able to try them this year.
Speaking of items only available at the party,
special commemorative merchandise is available for purchase. There are MagicBands, t-shirts, and trading pins. Please keep in mind that these items are limited release and could sell out.
Happy Holidays,
~Allison L
