I was wondering if meals are included in the price of the cruise or if you purchase them separately. Thank you

    Welcome aboard planDisney, Cierra!

I'm so glad you brought your delectable Disney Cruise Line question to us! One of my favorite things about a Disney Cruise is that when they say, "Be our Guest!" they really mean it. So, tie your napkin 'round your neck, cherie, because there is a culinary cabaret awaiting you!

You will be happy to know that you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks to your heart's content during your cruise which is all included in your cruise fare! Breakfast and lunch are served in one of the table-service Rotational Dining restaurants and the buffet-style restaurant each day. You can also pick up snacks in the quick-service style stands on the pool deck throughout the day. Dinner is served each night in delightfully themed restaurants where you will find some of the most delicious menus. You can even order a wide array of complimentary menu items from Room Service!

And Cierra, you can also indulge in soft-serve ice cream and soft drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea on the pool deck for free. Or stop by Cove Café and grab a snack from the display, also gratis! If your itinerary includes stops at Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, food, soft drinks, and ice cream are included!

Now, if you would like to splurge at one of the adult-exclusive restaurants, such as Palo or Remy, you will incur an extra charge on your stateroom folio. You need to make a reservation for these venues, which you may do when your Onboard Activity Booking window opens. Also, beverages at the bars (including at Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay), lounges, restaurants or through Room Service are an extra charge.

So, as you see, there is so much included in your Disney Cruise Line voyage, that you certainly won't go home hungry and I love how you can easily budget for your vacation knowing so much is part of the fare. In fact, there have been times when I have had a marvelous vacation on a Disney Cruise without spending an extra dime on food! Of course, the souvenirs tipped the scale, but that's for another conversation.

I hope you prop your feet up and be our Guest aboard Disney Cruise Line soon, Cierra! Please sail by planDisney any time with other questions you may have.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
