Samantha from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

i was wondering if we made reservations to the parks once we get our tickets, after, or does it reserve it for us automatically once we buy the tickets and book the trip? i was also wondering if there are any dining packages at the hotels at this time?

Hi there, Samantha! Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Guests are invited to Walt Disney World Resort to experience all the wonder and magic it is known for! As the reopening process continues, you can look forward to some changes that have been made to promote the safety of all Guests. Some of these include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact.

Another change to keep in mind is the need for theme park reservations prior to entering any of the four theme parks. You will need to make your reservations through the Disney Park Pass system once you have purchased your theme park tickets. It is strongly recommended that you check the availability before purchasing tickets through the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online, as well.

Making your theme park reservations is very simple and can be done either online or through the My Disney Experience app! First, you will need to confirm that your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account. From there, you will be prompted to create your party for your theme park reservation and select your dates to visit. You will then be able to select which theme parks you would like to visit and confirm your selections.

At this time, Dining Plans are currently unavailable to be added to vacation packages. This means that there are no current offers that include Dining Plans. That being said, you will still be able to book advanced dining reservations for your stay! At this time, dining reservations may be booked up to 60 days in advance so be sure to set your alarms!

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can assist with planning in any other way!
