Hi there, Nikki! We're glad you're here!
The lounges at
Walt Disney World are some of the best-kept secrets. At many of them, you can get full meals from a nearby restaurant, and you can do it without a
dining reservation.
I'll first specifically tell you that there is no age restriction to visit the
Nomad Lounge at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Located next to
Tiffins Restaurant, this is the perfect spot to grab a cocktail and a snack to break up your day. Your sister may enjoy one of the many specialty non-alcoholic beverages here - some are just as fancy as if she'd ordered a real cocktail.
The same is true of the
Rose & Crown Pub Lounge, located at the
Rose & Crown at EPCOT. You can still enjoy the famous fish and chips and a delicious pint (or soda), but anyone is welcome to enjoy the space - no age restrictions.
Most of the lounges work the same way - no age restrictions - but I will point out one notable exception to the rule.
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Your little sister can take part in all the fun and frivolity at this super popular lounge, but only until 8 PM. After 8 PM, they are a 21 and over location only.
Don't forget, Nikki, to enjoy any of the lounges inside of a theme park, you will need a theme park ticket and either a
park reservation or a park hopper ticket that allows you to switch parks after 2 PM.
I hope your family has an awesome visit!
Anna
