Just wondering how long of a bus ride it is from Animal Kingdom Park to Disney Springs? I want to make dinner reservations for my parents but want to make sure I give them enough time to get there. Thanks!

Hi Laura!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

While the actual transit time from Animal Kingdom Park to Disney Springs is about 20 minutes, you'll want to factor in time to wait for a bus to arrive and time to walk from the bus stop to the restaurant.  A good rule of thumb is to allow 90 minutes to travel between destinations.  That should give your parents plenty of time without being anxious about missing their reservation.  If they find themselves with a lot of time to spare, they can always browse the shops or enjoy the entertainment at Disney Springs while they wait.

Complimentary one-way bus transportation is provided from the Theme Parks to Disney Springs beginning at 4:00 pm.  After dinner, your parents can take a bus back to their Resort Hotel.  You might also want to consider Disney's Minnie Van service.  These colorful vehicles provide private expedited transportation anywhere within Walt Disney World Resort.
