Hello, I was wondering if you might know if/when Disney might offer hotel discounts for the military in 20210? We prefer to stay at either AKL or wilderness but Coronado was great as well. Thank you, Roger

Hey there, Roger! It is so great to see you back here at planDisney.

Roger, first I want to thank you and your family for your service. As you know, Walt Disney World Resort offers some great special offers on hotel reservations, and some fantastic discounts on tickets, that are reserved solely for service members and their party.

While military discounts are usually announced in the fall, we have not yet heard if or when discounts will be released for 2021.

Roger, my advice would be to check in the special offers section of the Walt Disney World Resort website every so often so that you catch the deals as they are released. If you have your heart set on a specific resort (I recommend a savannah-view room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge), then I would also recommend that you go ahead and make your reservation. If new military special offers are released, you should be able to either take advantage of the discount or switch to a different Walt Disney World Resort hotel that is participating in the special offer.

I hope that this helped, Roger. Please come back here to planDisney if we can help as you plan your magical vacation!

    See you real soon!
