I am wondering if inflatable (inner tube type) pool floats are permitted for use at Beach/Yacht Club Stormalong Bay?

    Susan,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Unfortunately no, you are not permitted to bring your own inner tube floats to the Stormalong Bay pool at Disney's Beach Club Resort. However, Disney does provide complimentary tubes for you to use when you enjoy their lazy river. On a recent visit I found that they had both standard round inner tube-style floats, as well as some that were more "U" shaped. I loved the latter, as they were more ideal for my relaxing cruise around the resort.

While this massive pool complex has so many unique and entertaining features, like a sand bottom pool area, it is the massive 230-foot (70 meters) slide that really makes my day. It originates from a shipwreck that is actually nestled on the beach of Crescent Lake, across the walkway from the resort. That shipwreck also has a mini-slide for the younger pirates in your group, so they can have fun there too!

    BONUS TIP
If you want to plus up your pool day, consider renting a poolside Cabana. Often, they can be rented for a full or half-day, and they give your family a private retreat where they can relax and connect. They come with multiple padded seating options, a TV, charging stations, a mini refrigerator with sodas and waters, a fruit basket, a safe, and a dedicated cast member to take care of your every need! Just call (407) WDW-PLAY to reserve one for your trip.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
